Terms of Service

Welcome to CitySummit Portage Towing. By using our towing and roadside assistance services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before requesting service.

Agreement to Terms

When you call us for service or use our website to request a tow, you're agreeing to follow these terms. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and we'll post any changes here on this page.

Service Availability

We operate 24/7 and make every effort to respond quickly to your call. However, actual response times can vary based on traffic conditions, weather, our current service load, and your location. We can't guarantee specific arrival times, but we'll always do our best to get to you as fast as possible.

Payment and Pricing

You agree to pay for all services at the rates we quote you before starting work. Prices are based on factors like distance, vehicle type, time of day, and any special equipment needed. Payment is due when service is complete unless we've arranged other terms with you in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards.

Your Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information about your vehicle and location. You're responsible for removing all personal items from your vehicle before we tow it. We're not liable for items left in your vehicle during transport. You also need to make sure we have legal authorization to tow your vehicle, especially if you're not the registered owner.

Vehicle Condition and Liability

We take great care with every vehicle we handle. However, we're not responsible for pre-existing damage to your vehicle. If your vehicle has existing damage, please let our driver know before we start the tow. We'll note it on the service form. We maintain insurance for the services we provide, but we're not liable for damage that existed before we arrived or for mechanical failures unrelated to the towing process.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel service, please call us as soon as possible. If our driver has already been dispatched and is on the way to your location, you may be charged a cancellation fee to cover our dispatch costs and the time our driver has already invested in responding to your call.

Storage and Impound

If we tow your vehicle to our storage facility or an impound lot, daily storage fees may apply. You'll be notified of these fees, and you're responsible for paying all storage charges when you pick up your vehicle. We have the right to place a lien on your vehicle if storage fees remain unpaid.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the towing service provided. We're not responsible for indirect damages like lost wages, rental car costs, or other consequential damages that might result from a breakdown or towing situation. Our maximum liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about our service, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. We're committed to making things right. Any disputes that can't be resolved directly will be handled according to Michigan state law.
